"This was Tina Marie’s first year of competing and we had high hopes for her but we never imagined that she would qualify for the Nationals (NM). Tina Marie qualified in July which didn’t leave us much time to prepare for NM in August. As an English riding instructor I did not know the rules here in Norway and therefore didn’t realize that not only would Tina Marie have to ride her set program but she would also have to ride a musical dressage piece. This was problematic as we did not have a piece prepared. I set to and choreographed a piece for her to learn and then left it with her and the name of an online company that could provide music. When I returned 10 days before the test it was to find out the company had let us down. Here we were 10 days before a test and no music. I frantically search the internet and found dressagemusic.co.uk. Not only did they manage to prepare and send me music in time but they also managed to help me through every step of the way on the computer. Tina Marie rode the test and the judges noted how appropriate the music was and the how well the horse and rider interpreted it. "Having only decided to enter a dressage to music competition as entries were about to close, I had very little time to plan my routine, let alone get it put to music. Not knowing the first thing about music, I emailed Owen for advise. He was great from start to finish as it was very difficult not being technically minded or musical. "I qualified my young horse for the Chiltern and Thames Summer Dressage Championships. I decided that it would be a nice idea to enter the music class to end her first competition season. I did not have a great deal of experience in putting music together nor did I have the time. Owen responded to all emails and requests promptly, and he was happy to make suggestions and changes to the routine. All I had to do was arrange the floor plan and then send him the video.
